Wizard of Oz

Well i hope you have a cuppa ready for this blog post, def be my biggest blog, so much to show you with this project. Well here we go.

This is where it all begins, with these 2 products, a 5"x7" shadow box and the 8x8 Wizard of Oz paper pad both from Graphic 45.

First thing was to cover the box with black acrylic paint.

Then the fun began with the decorating.
This is the front cover. The magic of oz piece is cut from the paper stack as are the playing cards at the bottom. The rosette is created again with the paper from the pack.

Open one side to reveal a tag inside a pocket
Then the other to reveal a plaque and the book inside.
This is with the book removed.
This is the tag from the left hand side, showing both its front and back.
Plaque from right hand side again showing its front and back.
This is the main book, there is a mini book inside the front page pocket.
The mini book inside the pocket of front page of main book is for holding a few ATC's.
Here are the ATC's that are within this mini book.
The front of the book without the mini book in.
Open the book to reveal more tags.
This is the left hand side, without its tags.

These are the tags from the above page, both front and back.
This is the right hand side.
These are the front and backs of the tags from the above page.
This tag (front and back) goes into the center pocket which i created between 2 pages.
The next two pages.
The tags from the left.
 Front and back
Front and back
The right hand side tags, front and back
The back page of the book. (Have to say the scarecrow lying down was a nightmare to cut out).
The tag from the back page both front and back. The heart is from an order i did from Art from the Heart and it came as part of the packaging.

Back of the box, This piece of poppy paper was from the cover of the paper pad as i had used all the rest.
The ribbon that hangs down the back is used to help lift up the book when its in the box and these are the pendents hanging from the ribbon. Created with Tim Holtz fragments and paper from the pack.
A side view of the closed box.
This is all that remains of my paper pack after decorating 1 box and creating 1 book, 6 ATC's, 1 mini book, 1 plaque, and 19 tags from it, all shown above.

Thank you so much for your patience with this post but really didnt want to miss anything. Think i got it all though. Hope you like it. x
