Red Red and more Red

These pages play homage to my fave colour. If hadnt guessed already....its RED.
The background was created with Tim Holtz Distress ink Festive Berries and some water splatted over it. Then a crackled stamp was randomly stamped again with Festive Berries.
The two main images are from the Octopode factory and are coloured with flexmarkers. The leaves are from Dylusions Doodleparts stamp collection as is the corner stamp.
The group of toadstools are from doodle parts stamp set again and the single one is from Doolally Dorris set again from Dylusions. The small black mushrooms are from lavinia stamps.

The stamping across the top is again from Dylusions aet 'further around the edge'. The hat is created from Doolally Dorris set.

Friends

Why didnt anyone warn me how addictive this messy art can be? Loving it though, lol.
Here is another page created using the fantastic products from Lady Dy. The background is bubblegum pink, vibrant turquoise ink spray from Dylusions and fired brick distress stain.
The leaves are 'further around the edge' stamps from Dylusions as is the decoration across the bottom.
The flowers are a free stamp from Crafter Stamper magazine and the heads have platinum stickles on them.

The Girls are stamped from Doolally Dorris again from Dylusions and coloured with flexmarkers.

WOYWW week 147

Wow is it wednesday again already? Where did that week go? Ah well here is my desk today, still fairly neat after the big clean up 2 weeks ago.
My new Dylusion stamps arrived yesterday so they are in pride of place on my desk. Still cant put others away so have just left the box on my desk with them in so i can look at them lol. Havent used them yet but hoping to do so today as i have a nice red page just waiting to be covered.
Oooohhhh doesnt it look lush, cant wait to cover it. Flex markers are out to colour in my digi stamps from The Octopode Factory, just found them and adore them all, NEED them all.
Created this box yesterday to store my tags as they were getting damaged on my desk. Its an old wash tablet box, covered in alcohol inks and a tag stuck to it. Very handy and looks after my work.

Well thats it for this Wednesday. Thanks for taking the time to look and if you can please join my blog.
Take care and have a great week.

WOYWW

This is the first time i have done WOYWW, it looks like too much fun not to have a go.
I recently found journaling and have to say am a tad addicted. My journal is on my desk as i am working on my 2nd and 3rd set of pages.
My new stamps are out, as i can not put them away. It feels mean not to have them out on the side as they are yummy.

My First Journal Page

First of all i have to say how much fun this journaling is and a tad addictive.
I started with my new moleskine journal and just opened it at any page.
The background is created using Dylusions inksprays fresh lime and bubblegum pink. The stamping around the edge and the leaves is created from Dylusions stamp set 'further around the edge'. The toadstools, girl and wings are from 'Doolally Doris' stamp set. Te girl and toadstools are coloured with promarkers and flex markers.
The crown is from a Tim Holts set and the little ant i have no idea where he came from. The circles are created from a dauber lid using archival ink and picket fence distress stain.
The stamping around the top is created with the free stamp from Craft Stampers magazine March 2012.

A fab weekend.

Had a great trip to Harrogate at the weekend. Went to GNPE hosted by craftwork cards, loads of great stalls and demos. But have to say i was a very good girl and didnt spend alot as i then headed up to Art From the Heart, run by the awesome Dyan.
This lady is so inspirational and has the most fantastic personality. Got to watch a demo from her and now i sooo want to have a go at journaling. Cant wait, so am off to have a play.
