My Book

Morning all.

I also have a Facebook page where all my art is if you would like to follow that too.
I do tend to get things on there quicker, lol.
HERE

Anyway today I have another step by step for you today.
This time using the new Dylusions paint colours and new Dylusions stamps.

You will need a 8 Manila Tag.

Using the new Calypso Teal paint take a SMALL amount out.

Brayer onto you tag on both sides.

Using a darker colour, here I have used After Midnight take an even smaller amount of paint and lightly brayer a few areas. Again do both sides.

Next you will need the Holes stencil the small one.

Using a tiny amount of the darker colour paint and a mini blender go over a few areas on your tag.

Like this.

Taking your journal block pencil a hill onto the bottom of your tag.

Using black Dylusions paint, paint in the hill.

With a white pen outline you circles, you don't have to be precise with this.

Stamp and cut out your little bird from the new "put a bird on it" stamp set.

Colour them in in any medium you choose. I used Pro markers here.

Next take the Clearly Alpha set.

Stamp whatever words you choose onto your tag.

I then went over them with a black pen to highlight them more.

Stick your bird on.

I also did the reverse of the book mark using same paints but different bird.

Add some ribbon scraps to the top and your done.

As I had done one for my daughter, my son decided he needed one too.
 Here is his version.

I used the new Tangerine Dream paint and squeezed Orange
I also used the new Staches of Tache stencil.

So of course I needed one too.

Thanks for stopping by today.

I used Dylusions paints in the background, it was left over paint from another project.

The image is from Saturated Canary and you can find her HERE I coloured her with
Pro Markers and Copics.

The border I created freehand with a posca pen. The words are also freehand and done with a posca pen.

Step by Step Dylusions Tag

Today I have a step by step tutorial for you.

I posted a tag on the Dylusions Facebook Challenge last month and was asked to do a step by step.

This is the tag.

You need a #12 tag.

Dylusions paint. For this one I used Squeezed Orange and Vibrant Turquoise.
(For the original I used Bubblegum Pink and Fresh Lime)

Pop some onto you craft mat. (Remember you don't need a lot)

Using a brayer work the paint in a little. (any spare paint put it onto a journal page, so no waste)

Roll over the tag.White spaces are fine, no need for perfect coverage.

Taking an even smaller amount of your darker colour, put it on your craft sheet.
(See you only need a tiny amount)

Using the brayer again go over very lightly in a few places.

Taking your chosen stencil (I used Diamonds from Dylusions) go through the stencil, in small areas with your darkest colour.

These are the stamp sets I used.

Stamp out the parts you need.

Cut them out.

Using the journal block and the border stamp from Around The Edge set.

I stamped up both sides.

Using Dylusions inks in corresponding colours, colour the circles up the side
in alternate colours.

Taking your numbers stick them down across the bottom of your tag.

For this tag I used the folowing Pro Marker and Copic markers to colour my images.

Colour in your remaining elements.

Stick them down onto your tag.

Using a white pen I outlined some of the Diamonds.

Take a piece of ribbon in a corresponding colour and add to the top.

Your done.

Dylusions Stencil:- Diamonds 5"x8"
 Around The Edge
Bits of This
