High School Girl

Hi there.
Its my turn over on the Saturated Canary Blog today.
Here is my creation.
Its a page in my Dylusions journal.
The background is Dylusions Black Marble Paint.

The main image is High School Girl and you can get her HERE.

The white is a posca pen, I used the Dylusions journal block around the edge.

Then I doodled in the spaces.

The image is coloured with Promarker pens and Copics (face only).

Thank you for stopping by today.

Most supplies can be found HERE

Dylusions Christmas Cards.

The Dylusions range has a new stamp and stencil set out for Christmas 2015.

Stocking Fillers.

Here are some samples I have made with my set.
Using some mixed media card stock i created some backgrounds. Here I used London Blue and Vibrant Turquoise inks. I then used the new snowflake stencil with vibrant turquoise dylusions paint.

I hand drew the border and added my own Merry Christmas to the right-hand side one.

I decided to leave the images black and white as a contrast to the bright background.

The next set were created in the same style as above but this time I used Cherry Pie and Squeezed Orange inks. With the new Holly stencil I used Cut Grass paint.

This time I coloured my images with my ProMarkers and Copics.

This is a fantastic set of stamps, great for creating fast Christmas cards. These took no time at all to create.

All Dylusions can be purchased at Art From The Heart.

September Dylusions Challenge.

Morning all.

well September sees the Dylusions Facebook Challenge turn 1.
Yes the challenge has now been going for a year.
It doesn't seem like a year since I set it going but it has been fun.

Here are my September pages.

The background is Dylusions paints.

All stamps are Dylusions.

I used Copics and Promarkers to colour the face and a Black Posca pen for the writing and doodling.

Background is Dylusions black paint.

All stamps are Dylusions and I used a Dylusions Stencil for the border.

I used black posca pen for the characters and a white Posca pen for all the doodling.

All supplies can be found at Art From The Heart.

A walk through of a recent page.

Hi there.

I have been asked more times than I can remember for some on line tutorials.
I am looking into this and will keep you updated.

For now though I have a walk through of a page for you.

First you will need Dylusions black paint and a mini Blending Tool.

Cover your page with the paint using the blending tool in circle motion.

Leave to "cure".
Then using a white pen create a border all the way around your page. Here I have just doodled a border I do a lot.

Now with the same pen create dots all the way around your doodled border.

Here is a closer picture.

This is it done all the way around.

Next stamp and cut out the character. I used the head  and caterpillar (for the neck) from 'Bits of This' set. The body is from 'Ruby Rainbow' and the legs and feet are from Curious Corrin.

I then coloured the face in with Promarker pens and went over the eyebrows and the eyelashes with a black pen just to highlight them.

After sticking them down I then created some swirls coming from her head. I tend to do these in pencil first so I know what area I have to cover.

I then just start to fill in the swirls.

I then go around the figure making tiny circles.

I do this around the hair too.

I then add a quote to the area that is fairly blank.  If it looks like I am running out of space I just make certain letters smaller to fit.

All done. Now you will be nice and relaxed too.........hopefully!!!!!

If you have any questions please feel free to put them in the comments section below.

Thank you for joining me.
