Exciting News

Hi there.

Just wanted to share some news with you guys.

As you know I have been on the Saturated Canary design team as a guest since October. My term came to an end at the beginning of January. But Krista has very kindly invited me to be apart of the Team permanently. I am so very excited about this as it allows me to combine my 2 favourite crafts, colouring Saturated Canary images and using them in my Journaling. 

Here are a couple of my creations that I did recently for Saturated Canary. 

This is in my Vintage ledger and I used Happy Tea Digi stamp.

This is using First Snow

This one features Soda Pop

Vintage Ledger

Here are some pages from my vintage ledger created recently. 

I totally love my vintage ledger. The paper is amazing and the size is huge so gives a great work area. 

I love the way that the writing from the previous owner comes through the ink sometimes too.

Vintage Ledger

A while a go I was lucky enough to be give a vintage ledger for my art journaling.

I can honestly say its amazing, the paper is such amazing quality its unbelievable. Sharpie pens dont even go through to the other side!!!!

Scribbling journal page

Morning all I have a journal page to share with you today.

The technique for this page I learnt at an art journal class at Art From The Heart. 

This technique is very therapeutic and one I have used a number of times. This is the latest page using this method.

 Its created in a vintage ledger that I recently received as a gift from a totally lovely person.

You can say what you want and it doesn't matter as no one can read it but just getting it down on the page helps.

After writing all over the page I then wrote over the top with a sharpie pen.

I then coloured around the letters with Dylusions Cherry Pie ink in a water brush.

I then when around the letters with a Sakura Glaze pen.

I then went around the letters again with a white pen. 

Here is the final page.

First and latest Dylusions stamps.

Afternoon.

Over on Facebook there is a challenge to create a page using your first and latest set of Dylusions stamps and also the colour blue. 

Here is my interpretation. 

My first set of Dylusions stamps was Doolally Dorris and the last one I got was Pin Up Queen.

The writing I did myself in Dyan's style. 

All the doodling around the edge is done freehand. 

I used London Blue Dylusions ink in the doodling around the edge and also inside the larger writing.
