New Dylusions Step by Step Tag

Using the new Dylusions releases I have created a step by step project for you.
Here is the tag.

You will need a #12 Dylusions Tag, Pure Sunshine and Slate Grey paints and Triangles small stencil.

Using a brayer apply the pure sunshine then the slate grey paints. Then using a mini blending tool and the slate grey paint add some triangles.

Using the stamp from the Anatomy of a Page set I stamped across the middle of the tag using Archival ink

Using the stamp sets Puddy Cat and Always I stamped out some images and cut them out.

Using a Dylusions paint pen I wrote across the tag.

I then positioned the stamps where I thought I would want them before sticking them down.

Using the colouring tool of your choice, colour in your images.

As a finishing touch I added some Ranger Stickles in Crystal to the wings.

I hope you enjoyed this, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Coffee App

Morning all.

Its my turn over on the Saturated Canary Blog today and this is my creation.

I have created a small book to practice my colouring and also to use up some of my left over bits of decorative papers.

This is the front cover.

I have used Saturated Canary digi image Coffee App and you can find her HERE

The decorative papers are all from Graphic 45 An ABC Primer collection. The words are a Dylusions stamp set called Word Love, which I stamped onto sticky backed canvas which I had covered with Tim Holtz Distress ink Vintage Photo.

I coloured the image with both Promarkers and Copics. I am slowly collecting more Copics and so need lots of practice.

Hopefully I will be back soon with some of the inner pages of the book.

Have a great day.

Dylusions Facebook Challenge - July

Morning all.
So over on the Dylusions Facebook Challenge this month, the challenge is Christmas in July with a black border.
Here are my creations using these prompts.

This one is in my square Dylusions Journal.
The background is Dylusions Paints brayed onto the page. Then using the journal block I created the border which I coloured in with Dylusions black marble paint. After leaving it to dry I stencilled on the Dylusions snowflakes stencil using the Dylusions white paint pen.

The birds are from Put a Bird on it stamp set, coloured with Copics.

This page is in my Regular sized Dylusions journal. Again the background is Dylusions paints. The snowflakes are a Dylusions stencil. The birds are coloured again with copics and promarkers.
The border is a Dylusions stamp from the set Christmas Borders.

This final page is again in my square Dylusions journal. Dylusions paints background again.
Dylusions stencil created the border. The writing is my own.

The main image is a composite of a few Dylusions stamp sets.
Christmas Accessories, Dependable Dotty and I Can See Clearly.

Afternoon everyone.

I have my latest Saturated Canary Design Team make to share with you today.

I used Witchkeys digital stamp from Saturated Canary. I coloured it with my Promarkers and copics.

This is on a 9x12" canvas board from Ranger.
I used Dylusions Paint on the background in Dirty Martini and Squeezed Orange.

I used Dylusions stamp set Bits and Bats for the spider webs and Bits of This for the spider.
I used some watered down black paint to splat with.

The stencil was Dylusions Diamonds in the small size. I put Ranger Texture paste through the stencil to create some dimension.

After covering the whole thing with Tim Holtz Distress Collage medium I then went to work with the new Distress Crayons blending all over the canvas.  Before finally going round the edge of my characters with a black Stabilo pencil and blending.
