Exciting News

Hi there.

Just wanted to share some news with you guys.

As you know I have been on the Saturated Canary design team as a guest since October. My term came to an end at the beginning of January. But Krista has very kindly invited me to be apart of the Team permanently. I am so very excited about this as it allows me to combine my 2 favourite crafts, colouring Saturated Canary images and using them in my Journaling. 

Here are a couple of my creations that I did recently for Saturated Canary. 

This is in my Vintage ledger and I used Happy Tea Digi stamp.

This is using First Snow

This one features Soda Pop

I look forward to bringing you more of my creations using the Saturated Canary images.

March Calendar Page

Morning all.

Today I have my March Calendar page to share with you. 

Created in my Dylusions journal as usual, I used Amsterdam Paints for the background in the following colours - Sky Blue Light, Turquoise Blue, Prussian Blue Phthalo and Titanium White.

I used the medium tag from Write Between the Lines Dylusions set to create the days and then just doodled the string to join them all together. 

I doodled the black border around the edge. I used Tim Holtz worn text stamp set to do the month and then coloured over the top to make it more black. 

The numbers are also from worn text stamp set.

The face is from Dylusions Survivor set and coloured with Copic markers and Promarkers. I added some more doodles using the Doodled Delight Dylusions stamp set.

Winter Wonderland

Morning all. 

Over on Crafty Boots this fortnight the challenge is Winter Wonderland. 

Here is my interpretation. 

The background is created with Amsterdam Paints.

The snowflakes are created with a Dylusions stencil and a white signo pen. 

The dates are created with white card to look like snowballs. 

The images are both from saturated Canary. This is Called Hot Cocoa (retired) and is coloured with a combination of ProMarkers and Copics. 

This one is called Snowman Love.

The lettering is handwritten.

Found Pictures - Another Dylusions Canvas

Afternoon all. 

I was supposed to post these pictures with the other canvas but I couldn't find them!!!! Typical that I found them right after I had posted the last post. Ah well at least I found them. 

This canvas is an 8x12 and the background is done in the same way as the last one just using different colours of Amsterdam Paints. 

The main image is from dylusions stamp sets "shrooms" and survivor. 



 The mushrooms are from "shrooms" and I just used some washi tape to ground them. I used a uni-ball signo white pen over all the polka dots. 

The words are again dylusions and are from the "say it how it is" set.

Dylusions canvas

Morning all.

I have a canvas to share with you this morning as well as some exciting news. 

This canvas is 8x8.

The background is created with Amsterdam Paints.

The main image is Dylusions from the Survivor set. 

I added some Doodled Delight stamps to the hair, again a Dylusions set and coloured with Dylusions inks. 

The words are from Say It How It Is stamps set. 

The stamp around the edge is from the Christmas Accessories set. I used a Posca pen to do the black dots around the hair.

Mini Journaling

Morning all.

Awhile ago my Daughter and I took a mini Journaling class at Art From The Heart. 

I was really unsure if I would be able to do this as I usually work either in the large Dylusions journal or my huge vintage ledger. But my daughter likes the idea of smaller journaling. 

To my surprise I did OK and here are my pages, some I did after I came home. 

I have done a few more but appear to have lost the photographs, so when I find them I will post.

Summer Canvas

Morning.

Well the children are on their summer holidays so I thought I wouldn't get any time to craft. But thanks to the fantastic weather we have been having I have managed to create a canvas sat at the patio table while the little guy was in the paddling pool. 

Here it is.

The canvas is 8x10. The background is mainly Amsterdam Paints. I did add some Dylusions White Linen spray through a stencil too. I also used 2 of the Graphic Background stamps.

The background is created with Tim Holtz Distress Paints in Peacock Feathers and Ripe Persimmon and Amsterdam Paints, white and black.

The squares are cut from Bazzill Basics card stock and mounted on black card.

This image is Saturated Canary - Some Bunny Loves You, coloured with Pro Markers pens.

This image is also Saturated Canary - Jelly bug and is again coloured with Pro Markers.

The words are Dy's alphabet stamps from the Dylusions range.
