Recent Dylusions Class - Flipbook

Morning.

A few weeks ago I taught a class at Art From The Heart, where we created a Flipbook and then started to decorate it.
We got the whole book made and backgrounds in. As we didn't get time to fully decorate them I thought I would share mine that I finished at home.

All the backgrounds are created with Dylusions paints brayered on to linen cardstock.

I used some of the Dylusions postcards.

Some of the Stencils.

Some of the colouring sheets.

Some of the printed canvas sheets.

Lots of older stamp sets.

I used all the new stamp sets too.

I coloured the stamps with Dylusions inks.

Here are the lovely ladies hard at work creating their own flipbooks.

Here are the ladies with their finished books, just waiting to be decorated.

Thank you for stopping by today.

My next class is on Saturday at Art From The Heart.
We will be creating a Stampotique ATC Album.
We will transform large Dylusions tags into an album to display your ATC's. Using Dylusions paints to create colourful backgrounds, we will then decorate our books and create some ATC's with a combination of Stampotique stamps from Tracy Scott and Kate Crane.

Dylusions flowers

Morning all.
I hope this Sunday morning finds you all well?

So first up I have some super exciting news.
Yesterday I was featured on the Queen of Dylusions HRH Dyan Reaveley Blog. Oh my how excited am I? Massive thank you to Dyan for all her support and encouragement over the years,  and to the lovely Jay. Poor old Jay had to sift through the mountain of emails I sent her with pictures of my samples in. Thank you sweets for everything.

Here is the link if you would like to check it out:

I have a couple of cards to share with you today.
These are 8x8 cards.

Stamps used here were Around the Edge for the border and Fancy Florals for the flowers and leaves.
All I did, for the flowers, was ink up a piece of cardstock (as you would if you were creating a background). I then stamped the different sized flowers onto the inked background using an Archival ink pad. Cut them out and arranged them in the top left corner. I stamped the wording using the Mini Clear stamps - Clearly Alpha again with Archival ink.

I did exactly the same as above with this card just using different coloured inks and hand drawing a border rather than stamping one.  This time I placed my flowers in the bottom right hand corner.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like the cards I made. Please feel free to leave comments.

A mini blender for every colour.

A couple of pocket letters.

Some journal pages.
