Floral Canvas

Morning.

I have a canvas to share with you today.

I used these 3 Dylusions paints. Crushed Grape, London Blue and Linen White.

Using the new Dina Wakley Media brushes I apply the paint to the canvas.

I then added some Dylusions inks in Blue and Purple with some water straight over the top to water the colours down.

I added some Dylusions stencils with the Dylusions white linen spray.

Using my Dylusions journal block I created a border around the canvas and using the black Dylusions paint I painted the border in.

Once the black paint has completely dried I then doodled with my white pen around the edge.

I  made some flowers using the Dylusions Fancy Floral set and attached them to the canvas.
I then added some writing using a Fuse ball pen.

I had so much fun with this, just need to find somewhere to put it now, lol.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

June Dylusions Facebook Challenge

Hi there.

So June is upon us, not quite sure where this year is going but its flying past for sure.

I have my June Dylusions Facebook challenge page to share with you today.
The challenge this month is to create a border in black. Simples!

Here is the page in my Dylusions journal before I started to "faff" with it.
It is a mixture of Dylusions paints and inks and some clean up from the mini blending tool.

I used a Dylusions stencil to create the border with Dylusions black paint too.

I used washi tape to create a seat for my character. The head is one from Dyan's downloads (no longer available) and I doodled over the eye to make it stand out more.
The hat, body and legs are from Deviant Scrap. I doodled over the body which is actually a plain hat!!

The quote is from Edgar Allan Poe and I did it free hand in my own style with a posca pen.
I also doodled around all the squares and triangles with my white pen.

Here is a page in my small Dylusions journal.
Again using Dylusions paint and stencil to create the border around the edge.
The background is Dylusions paint and stencil.

The quote and head are Dylusions stamps. The neck was drawn on.

This next page is again in my small Dylusions journal and is again created using Dylusions paints, stencils and stamps.

Before I go, just to let you know I will again be taking a taster class at Art From The Heart preview day. You will also be able to see upcoming workshops and get 10% discount on all workshops booked that day. For details please click HERE.

All supplies used can be found at Art From The Heart.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Enjoy your day.

Dylusions paints class

Morning all.

A few photos to share with you today.

Last month I took a Dylusions paints class with Dyan Reaveley at AFTH.
We were given a small Dylusion journal to work in, and we worked on nothing but backgrounds.
I got most of my pages filled during class then I finished the rest when I got back home.
I have now started work on the details.

Here are a few of the pages I have finished up to now.

Thank you Dyan for a fabaroonie day full of techniques.
If you get chance to do this class I would highly recommend it.

Thank you for stopping by today.
