Vintage Tag Book

Morning all from a very wet East Yorkshire.

As many of you know I went on a Distress canvas workshop a few weeks ago at Art From The Heart taught by the uber talented Kaz Hall. Well I have appeared to have caught the vintage bug. I have always adored this style but to be honest never thought i could pull it off myself. I love the canvas we did and ventured into my journal with a page and then a tag.
Well I've gone a step further this time and created 3 tags and pockets for them to go into.

This is the pocket for tag #1

All fastened together with 2 book rings.

Guest Designer at Lacy Sunshine

Hi there,

I am so excited to be appearing as Guest Designer this fortnight over at Lacy Sunshine

I was having so much fun with my card that I ended up making 2.
This fortnight the challenge is Deck the Halls and here are my interpretations.

This is an 8x8 card blank, the backing papers are from Graphic 45's The Nutcracker Sweet collection.

The main image is a Lacy Sunshine digi called Snowflake Quality Control. I coloured her with my Pro Marker pens.

I added some pale pink gems from my stash and some Fairy Dust glitter to the hair, wings and dress.

All the embellishments and the sentiment are cut from the Graphic 45 paper pad.

The 2nd card is again an 8x8 card blank, still using Graphic 45's Nutcracker Sweet collection.

The main image is again from Lacy Sunshine and is called Lil Bows Tin Soldier.
I again coloured her with my Pro Marker pens.

The gems are from my stash as is the sentiment. The song sheet is cut from the papers. I edged the image with Vintage photo Tim Holtz Distress ink

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you like my Lacy Sunshine cards as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

Vintage Tag

Hi there.

Just wanted to share a tag with you today.

I recently went on a distress canvas workshop at Art From The Heart taught by the very talented Kaz Hall.
Well this got me thinking about the whole vintage theme, I have always loved the look but never thought I could do it. Anyway I finally decided to knuckle down and have a go.

Here is the finished result.

Its a #10 tag from Ranger mounted onto some black card stock. I used Distress inks Ripe Persimmon and Seedless Preserves on the background. Edged with Gathered Twigs.

The #5 tag is covered with book paper and distressed with Vintage Photo. I made the smaller tag myself.

Added some ideology, key, staples, twine, vintage photo, ribbon and some chit chat words.

Thank you for stopping by today and please feel free to leave a comment.
