Christmas is Coming with Dylusions and Graphic 45

Hi there.
Well I have to say I am never normally this organised when it comes to Christmas and perhaps this may turn out to be all that I get round to making but hey ho at least I made an effort.

I received the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet 8x8 paper pad from my bestest buddy Bex for Christmas (how awesome a buddy is she?) Any way after realising I couldn't just sit and look at them the whole year I decided to do something with them.

Here is what I have done so far with them. Both cards are 8x8. All the papers are from Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet.

The main image is from Dylusions set Curious Corrin.
The hat and beard are from Christmas Accessories set.

The stamped image is coloured with ProMarkers.

The tag was cut from one of the paper sheets in the pad.

The second card is the same materials just different paper combinations

Thank you for stopping by today.

All supplies are from:
Except for the ProMarkers - Letraset

Christmas in August

Hi there.
I would like to share with you today my latest Design Team piece for Crafty Boots Challenges. It was my turn to set the challenge this fortnight and I chose "Christmas in August". I did get into trouble for mentioning the 'C' word so early, but oh well.
To make up for mentioning the 'C' word I made 2 projects, a page in my journal and a card. Hopefully this makes up for the 'C' word,?

Here is my Card.
Its an 8x8 black card and all the backing papers are from 'Rose-Tinted Christmas' 8x8 paper pad from DCWV.

The main image is a digi from Saturated Canary called - (Ugly) Christmas Sweater, you can get her here
She is coloured with Pro-Markers.

The gems are from Paper mania as is the pink polka dot ribbon.

Both sentiments are from the digi download.

Next up is my journal page. This is in my creative journal and is all Dylusions.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Samples

Here are some recent samples I made.
They all feature the brilliant Dylusions, stamps, stencils and inks.
All can be purchased from Art From The Heart, the home of Dylusions, just click here.

The first piece is on a piece of 12x12 manilla cardstock.

These are all created on  #12 tags.

This next tag is a #10 with a black #8 over.

Just some old card sandwiched between Dylusions covered card.

This next one is a page from my creative journal.

One technique three versions

Today I would like to share with you 3 journal pages, all using the same technique but in 3 different ways.
The original inspiration for these was from a video by the fabby Dyan Queen of all things Dylusional.
You can see the original idea here
Not only is it full of inspiration, it is also hilarious.

Here are my versions.

The first one is using the black and white technique as Dyan did.

The backgrounds for these 2 were already in my creative journal and I just went over the top with my pen.

Christmas Dylusions

Hi there.
Well I know its early but I wanted to test and see if the newly released Dylusions stamps would work well with my Christmas stamps. (Any excuse for journal time, lol)

Anyway what do you think, do you think they work well?

I think they work awesome but hey that's just me.

Thanks for stopping by today.

August Calendar Page

Hi there.
Well I have managed another month, whoop whoop. Wow where is this year going? Any way here is my August Calendar page.

The background is done using Amsterdam Paints and a baby wipe. I created the bubble effect with Amsterdam Paints and a Dylusions stencil - Dotted Flowers. I used both sizes of the stencil.

I also used Curious Corrin.

The writing I did myself.

Its all coloured in with Dylusions inks in water brushes and a white Sakura gelly roll pen to highlight.

Thank you for passing by today.

The right side of wrong

Morning all.

Welcome to another post using the new Dylusions stamps.
This time i am back in my Creative Journal (large one).

The background is done using Dylusions inks in Cut Grass, Bubblegum Pink and Fresh Lime.
The stencils used to create more in the background are also Dylusions.

I used the cobweb border from Day of the Heads set around the edge of the page.

Used one of the houses from This old House set to create a body, Dependable Dotty's legs and the worm from the Mischievous Malcolm set for a neck.

Her head is from Bits of This set and her hair is from the This Old House set. The caterpillar's for the eyebrows are from Bits of This.

The skulls are from Day of the Heads set and the little eyes are from Monster Mash. The spider is also from Bits of This.

I did the letters myself using Dyan's style. The quote is from a page on facebook.

Thank you so much for coming by today.
I am off now to play with the new Dylusions ink pad, be back soon.

Home Sweet Home

Afternoon everyone.
Well I had a fabaroonie surprise yesterday in the post. This little lot arrived from Art From The Heart

After I had finished squealing with excitement I set to work creating and here is the first of my creations. Its a 12x12 piece of Manilla card by Ranger. I created the background using Derwent Intense Blocks (only just got some of these on my last visit to AFTH, oooh they are such fun).

Added tonnes of Dylusions stamps coloured with Dylusions inks in water brushes and there you go.

I love the new little houses from the 'This old house' collection and how cute is the fence from the Days of the heads collection?

Had to sneak in the caterpillar from Monster Mash set, just adore him.

Here are all the sets that i used:

This Old House
Days Of The Heads
Dy's Alphabet
Monster Mash
Background Love
Bits of This
Pondering Petunia
How Does Your Garden Grow

Thank you for stopping by today.
Please pop by again tomorrow as I have a journal page to share with you, again using the new stamps.
