Dylusional Christmas

Last weekend i was lucky enough to be doing a workshop with the beautiful Dyan up at Art from the Heart. The 'topic' was Dylusions Christmas in which we used Dyan's new Xmas stamps and stencils. I am sooooo in love with these stamps and stencils.
Anyway here is my background creations. Think that we would all have been happy just to make lots of inky backgrounds, we just kept going and going and going.

That is until Dyan cracked the whip and moved onto the next element. Oh boy am i glad she did as it was getting to play with the Xmas stamps. Here are just some of my finished pieces (haven't got them all done yet).

This is one of the new 12" tags from Ranger, these are awesome, really big but great to work with.

These are 2 of my cards finished

Here is a journal page that was already coloured, i just stamped on the Xmas images.

This is me with the fabby Dyan, i have the most ludicrous grin on my face!!!! But Dyan looks awesome as always.

Finally this is me with my inky buddy Michelle from the Hobby Room (hop over to her blog to checkout her fabaroonie work, she really is an inspiration).
We met via a blog post about a trip to Art from the Heart, was great to catch up with her again.

Thanks for looking and hope you have a great day.

WOYWW 170

Well its Wednesday again and i have been AWOL for a couple of weeks but now back hopefully, lol.
If you are wondering what all this WOYWW business is, hop over to the stamping ground for all the details.
Here is my desk today, fairly tidy for me.

This is my new Dylusions stamp set that happened to jump into my basket whilst on holiday. All stamps in the shop had 20% off that day, so a bargin too.

Was at Art from the Heart on Sunday for my journaling class with the awesome Dyan and this is my creations. One finished, just need to finish the other 3.

This just happened to get purchased too and signed by Dyan herself after class :)

Finally took the plunge and bought the last 2 ink sprays i needed (Chocolate and black marble). Have been putting off getting these as i didnt think i would ever use them. But decided to take the plunge after seeing some of Dyan's creations in her journals. Time to step once again out of the box, whoop whoop.

Happy WOYWW and thanks for taking a peak into my crafty inky world.

One

This week (Wednesday) sees the Crafty Boots Challenge one year old and so in honour of this, this fortnights challenge is ONE and the interpretation is up to you. Be it a number one, one stamp, one colour, one range etc.
Here is my interpretation be it a bit late, lol.

Well for me it just had to be Dylusions didnt it? So everything on this journal spread is Dylusions.
I have been on my holidays to Scotland to see the in laws and so i created this using a laptray as my craft desk.
The background is 'mop up' of dylusions sprays Vibrant Turquoise and Cut Grass.

Here is the finished spread. The border is created from a stamp from the 'around the edge' set and coloured with Dylusions inks which i have in water brushes for easy use.

This stamp is from the 'Ruby Rainbow' set as are the wings, wellies and umberella's. She is again coloured with Dylusions inks.

Love these wellies. Here is a pair for each of us (Mine just had to be red, lol).

The caterpillars are again Dylusions and are from the 'bits of this' set.

Thank you for looking and best wishes if you enter the challenge.
