Morning all.
Just wanted to share a few recent journal pages with you. I am so glad I found journaling, it really is a perfect way to express yourself or just simply play around.
As many of you know, but for those of you who don't, my journal journey began with the awesome talents of Kaz Hall, please check out her fabaroonie blog, there is so much inspiration to be had here.
From Kaz I found the ever inspiring Dyan Reaveley, creator of all things Dylusional and fabulous lady.
All these pages are in my Creative Journal, the perfect surface for journaling on.
This page uses the new Under The Sea Dylusions stamp set and ocean backgrounds as well as Dylusions inks.
This page uses a combination of Mischieous Malcolm and Monster Mash Dylusions Stamp sets and Dylusions ink sprays.
The background here is Dylusions ink sprays and I used Flossie Stencil. The circles are just drawn on and the word dream is from Word Love stamp set.
The flower border here is created with Dotted Flowers 9x12 stencil. The background is all Dylusions inks. The writing is mine using Dyan's style. The Charlie Chaplin image and quote were from the Internet.
I was driving home from an Art Journal workshop at Art From The Heart on Sunday when a Beautiful South song came on the radio and the line, "take a good look at these crows feet, sitting on the prettiest eyes" stuck in my head and this is the page I made from it.
This page is using a technique Dyan used in a Ranger video.
Finally this page was the first time I have cut down the side using a stamp. I've ripped bits out before and cut wavy lines using Dyan's journal block, but this was the first with a stamp and I have to say I really like the effect.
Thank you for stopping by today. Please feel free to leave some comments.
