My first preview day

Morning all.

Well yesterday saw my first Art From The Heart Preview day as a tutor. Eeeeek.
I still can not quite believe that it happened.
But happen it did, here is the proof.

Thank you to the lovely Michelle for these pictures as I managed to take a grand total of none!!!
I have to admit that I was totally terrified but I was so lucky to have an amazing bunch of ladies in the class who made it a total joy and the nerves disappeared very quickly.

This is what we made.

Yesterday was also Gemma's birthday and a birthday is not a birthday without cake is it?
So here is Gemma with her cake.

Preview wouldn't be the same without the usual numpty photographs and well it was me this time, lol. Thanks to Daisy Lou for these 2 images.

My Daughter was totally take with Dyan's skirt and even more so when she was told that Dyan had made it herself (in a hotel room). One rather impressed young lady.

Then of course you always get that one, don't you? Yeah you know the one!!
Well today it was Sandra Hall, one of the tutors at Art From The Heart. Such a lovely lady who gives THE best cuddles in the world.

I would also like to say a huge well done to my fellow newbies Tracy Scott and Karen Hayselden. You guys were amazing, I did both your classes and learnt something new in each one. Thanks ladies it was a pleasure.

Well guys that's it for this times preview. I hope that all those who made it had as much fun as I did yesterday.

Huge thank you to Dyan and Ben for your faith in me to allow me to take part.
To book your place on any of the new classes please go to Art From The Heart here and from Monday you can see all the new workshops (including mine).

Ps Wonder who will be first to mention the cracks and flaps in the comments ????

Found Pictures - Another Dylusions Canvas

Afternoon all.
I was supposed to post these pictures with the other canvas but I couldn't find them!!!! Typical that I found them right after I had posted the last post. Ah well at least I found them.

This canvas is an 8x12 and the background is done in the same way as the last one just using different colours of Amsterdam Paints.

The main image is from dylusions stamp sets "shrooms" and survivor.

The mushrooms are from "shrooms" and I just used some washi tape to ground them. I used a uni-ball signo white pen over all the polka dots.

The words are again dylusions and are from the "say it how it is" set.

All supplies can be found at Art From The Heart.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Morning all.

I have a canvas to share with you this morning as well as some exciting news.

This canvas is 8x8.
The background is created with Amsterdam Paints.

The main image is Dylusions from the Survivor set.
I added some Doodled Delight stamps to the hair, again a Dylusions set and coloured with Dylusions inks

The words are from Say It How It Is stamps set.

The stamp around the edge is from the Christmas Accessories set. I used a Posca pen to do the black dots around the hair.

Here is my news.

Black and White Journal

Afternoon.

Today I have a journal to share with you.

All I had was black card stock and was a little worried about making it from black card stock but I am now so pleased that I did.

After sticking in all the collage ( I am a member of Teesha Moore's Artstonauts club and these are her collage sheets) all I needed was a white pen. I used the Signo Uni Ball white gel pen and you can get them here  at Art From The Heart.

It did take awhile to do but I totally enjoyed it and loved the process. The simplicity of just using a white pen was a fabulous experience.

Mini Journaling

Morning all.

Awhile ago my Daughter and I took a mini Journaling class at Art From The Heart.
I was really unsure if I would be able to do this as I usually work either in the large Dylusions journal or my huge vintage ledger. But my daughter likes the idea of smaller journaling.

To my surprise I did OK and here are my pages, some I did after I came home.

I have done a few more but appear to have lost the photographs, so when I find them I will post.

Thanks for stopping by today.
