October calender page

Morning all.

Here is my October Calender page. Can you believe its October all ready? Just 2 more months then I have actually done 2 full years of calender journal, whoop whoop. 

Anyway here is October.

I have split October into 2, the first page is for Cancer awareness . The background is Picked Raspberry Distress paint from Tim Holtz. The stencil is from Dylusions and I used picked raspberry distress ink through the stencil. Then I went around the edge with white pen. The papers to create the days are from Blonde Moments. 

The word October is created using Tim Holtz Worn Text stamp set.

The didgi stamp is from Saturated Canary and is coloured with a combination of Promarkers and Copics.

The second page is created using Tim Holtz distress paint again but in Ripe Persimmon. The stencil is again Dylusions and the papers are again Blonde Moments. The Happy Halloween is from Tim Holtz.

The digi stamp is again from Saturated Canary and coloured with Promarkers.

Dylusions day

Hi there.

This Saturday I will be at Craftique here in East Yorkshire teaching an introduction to Dylusions. So if any of you have always wanted to have a go but not sure where to begin please give Amanda a ring on 01482 627559 and book a place. The class will run from 13.00 til 16.00.

The little girl is called Back To School Girl 2014.

The little boy is Back To School Boy 2014.

Vintage Ledger

Here are some pages from my vintage ledger created recently. 

I totally love my vintage ledger. The paper is amazing and the size is huge so gives a great work area. 

I love the way that the writing from the previous owner comes through the ink sometimes too.

Post Cards

Morning all.

Over at Crafty Boots this fortnight the challenge is 'Post Cards'. Here is my interpretation. 

This is an 8x8 (again, lol) black card.

All the papers are from Graphic 45 By The Sea 8x8 collection, you can purchase them here.

The main image is from Saturated Canary and is called 'Washi Girl'. I coloured her with my Pro Markers, except for the skin which I coloured with Copics. 

The swirl is from Creative Expressions and the post cards are from the same paper pad as the papers.

Flowers.

Morning all.

Over at Crafty Boots this fortnight the challenge is 'Flowers'.

Here is my interpretation. 

This is made from old packaging from my craft supplies.

Its covered with Graphic 45 papers from Sweet Sentiments, Little Darlings and Secret Garden 8x8 collections. You can get Graphic 45 products here.

The main image is from Saturated Canary and is called Grow I coloured her with Pro Marker pens. 

The flowers are from Hobbycraft and the hat pins are from Creative Expressions.

This is the reverse with papers from the same collections as the front. the ribbon is from my stash.

August Calendar Page

Morning all.

just popping in quickly to show you my August Calendar Page.

This is again created in my Dylusions journal.

The background is Amsterdam paints.

The paint was left over from my canvas, so waste not want not.

Summer Canvas

Morning.

Well the children are on their summer holidays so I thought I wouldn't get any time to craft. But thanks to the fantastic weather we have been having I have managed to create a canvas sat at the patio table while the little guy was in the paddling pool. 

Here it is.

The canvas is 8x10. The background is mainly Amsterdam Paints. I did add some Dylusions White Linen spray through a stencil too. I also used 2 of the Graphic Background stamps.

First teaching class - Dylusions cards

Morning all. 

I am going to be teaching my first class, eeeeeccck. I will be teaching at Craftique in Hessle East Yorkshire on Saturday 9th August 10-1.

Here is an idea of what we will be doing.

Using Dylusions inks, stamps and stencils we will be creating bright, colourful and cheerful cards.

Also adding some doodling too.

Summer Holidays

Morning all and welcome to the start of the summer holidays. 

Today over at Crafty Boots the challenge was set by myself and is Summer Holidays. How you interpret that is entirely up to you.

 Here is my version. 

This is an 8x8 card and all the papers are from Graphic 45 By The Sea collection. I really really do love this collection.

The main image is from Saturated Canary and is called Hipster. Isn't she just gorgeous? I coloured her with my Promarker pens, except for the skin which is Copics.

The little beach rules sign is from the banners and tags that again from Graphic 45 By The Sea collection. 

The sentiment is a stamp from Lili of the Valley.
