Dylusions New Releases - Christmas Stamp/Stencil Set.

Afternoon everyone.

Last week Dyan launched 2 new Christmas releases,
Colouring sheets and a new stamp/stencil set.

Here are some of the things I created with the stamp/stencil set. (I will be back tomorrow with the colouring sheets creations)

This is from a concertina book I am creating. The backgrounds are created with inks (bubblegum pink and crushed grape) and Dylusions paints (Lime Green, Cut Grass and Dirty martini). I used the stencil that comes with set to do the background on the green pages and also the Merry Christmas up the side of 2 of the pages is part of the set.

I then added the stamped images from the set and coloured them with Dylusions inks.

This is a page in my Dylusions square journal using some of the new stamp set in combination with a few other Dylusions stamps.

I hope you like them, I certainly had fun creating with them.
How super cute is that Robin too? Love him.

Thank you for stopping by.

Art From The Heart will be stocking the new stamp/stencil set as soon as they clear customs. Hopefully the end of the week.

Dylusions New Releases - Christmas Colouring Sheets.

Afternoon everyone.
Last week Dyan launched 2 new Christmas releases,
Colouring sheets and a new stamp/stencil set.

Here are some of the things I created with the colouring sheets.

Each of these are on a page from the small Dylusions journal. I took one of the colouring sheets and cut out the images I wanted and glued them onto the page.

This first one is Dylusions paint background in Funky Fushia and Pure Sunshine. I just added some black Dylusions paint pen to the image to make the image pop.

Background is Dirty Martini and Cherry pie paint. Stencil is from last years stamp/stencil release. I coloured this one in with Dylusions ink in a water brush.

This is one of the pages from the inserts. Again I cut out the images I wanted and added colour with Dylusions inks in water brushes. Dirty Martini and Cherry Pie again. I added the border free hand and the little dots around using the Dylusions white paint pen.

Funky Fushia and Pure Sunshine paint background. Stencil from new stamp/stencil set.
Again coloured with Dylusions inks.

Another black insert page and just highlighting certain parts of the cut out colouring sheets with Dylusions paint pen. Added the words and border free hand with the white Dylusions paint pen.

Cherry Pie and Dirty Martini paint background. New stencil from the stamp/stencil set.
Images cut out from colouring sheets and coloured again with Dylusions inks.

This is a front cover to a small concertina booklet I am making and it uses one of the smaller colouring sheets, which incidentally are perfect for card makers too.

Here are some the smaller images and you get 4 of each so plenty to make your cards with should you wish.

Customs depending the new colouring sheets will be in stock at Art From The Heart at the end of the week here in the UK.

Have a fabaroonie day
and I will see you tomorrow with the stamp/stencil set samples.

Cobwebs

Morning all.
I have a journal page to share with you today.
This one uses the new Cobwebs stencil from Dylusions and stamps from the new Dylusions sets Rose Coloured Glasses, Always and Never Forget.

I used a page that was already painted up. Overlayed the large version of the stencil onto the page and using Dylusions black marble paint and a mini blender I went through the stencil.

Here is how it looks when done.

After leaving the paint to cure, go over all the black with the Dylusions white paint pen.

I then stamped and cut out the character I wanted and placed them where I wanted them to be.

Stick them down and colour your character. Or if you prefer colour first then stick down.

Add a quote should you wish.

As Dyan would say, "easy when you know how".

Over on Dyan's blog there are some samples using the cobwebs stencil on tags, please click HERE to see them.

Thank you for stopping by today.

September Dylusions Challenge.

Morning all.
Sorry I have been AWOL for awhile but the children have been off on their summer holidays so it has been a bit chaotic here.

Today sees the launch of the September Dylusions challenge over on Facebook.
I cant believe it has been 2 years since I set the challenge going. It seems to be very well received and I have had some lovely feedback from those who take part.

Here is my take on this months challenge which is anything goes with purple.

The background was created with Dylusions paints in White Linen, Slate Grey and Black Marble. Using a babywipe to apply the paint. (this technique was taught in a recent class I took with Dyan

Stamps on this page were from Always and Passage of Time Dylusions sets.

The writing is my own.

The stamps on this side were from Rose Coloured Glasses, Passage of Time and I can see clearly.

The clock faces are hung using a stamp from Bordering on the Edge.

The cobwebs are created using the new Dylusions stencil 'Cobwebs'.

I edged the cobwebs with the Dylusions paint pen white linen.

The background stencils are Fresh Dots and Flower pop, 2 of the new sets from Dylusions.

All supplies can be purchased from Art From The Heart.

Thank you for coming by today.
