3 years of Art Journaling

Morning all.

I can not believe that I have now been art journaling for 3 years!!!! Where does the time go? Sometimes it feels a lot longer than that and others like it was yesterday.
I have learnt so much along this journey and the best part is that you continue to learn each and every day.
My journey started by chance and you can find out more about the
beginning of my journey here

Fast forward 3 years and this is where I am now.
I am a tutor at Art From The Heart.
Oh my word it feels so very strange to write that. I still find it hard to believe that Ben and Dyan even asked me never mind actually let me lose in their studio.

The first time I took a class was on Preview day back in December.

Here is what we created in the hour taster session.

This was what we created on my first full class.

I was then asked to do another preview day (oh wow can you believe they actually asked me back???) and these are what we created in the hour taster class.

Here is Daisy Lou's

Here is Catherine's

Here is Claire's, who also made another one at home.

My next class is on May 2nd and we will be creating Dylusions cards. To book your place please click on the link here

Then on 11th July I will be taking a doodle journal class. See here to book

So what are my journal pages like now? Here are some of my most recent pages.

My black and white obsession continues too, as you can see with this Dylusions journal I created using only black and white.

Well that's it from me today. Please feel free to leave a comment, I would love to know what you think.
Take care.

Blocking Technique with Dylusions Paints.

Afternoon everyone.

You could probably hear me squealing wherever you are in the world the other day when I got my inky messy hands on these little beauties.
The fabulous Dylusions paints.

I feel like a child in a sweet shop at he minute I am that giddy.

Anyway I have a few journal pages to show you using Dyan's blocking technique. These are not yet finished but just wanted to show you how awesome they look without being finished.

This page is London Blue, Vibrant Turquoise and White.

This is Crushed Grape, Bubblegum Pink and Vibrant Turquoise.

This one is Vibrant Turquoise, Postbox Red and Squeezed Orange.

I have also decorated the cover of a new Dylusions Journal and have used, Bubblegum Pink, Squeezed Orange and Chocolate Brown.

I really like this blocking technique What do you think? I believe that Dyan will be doing a video of this technique so watch out for that.

Finally I will leave you with a couple of Journal pages I completed recently.

Thank you for stopping by today. Enjoy your Day.
