Secret Key

Second post for me today, must be a record :)

This is also an 8x8 card but this time is an easel card.
All the backing papers are from the gorgeous Graphic 45 8x8 Secret Garden Collection. This collection is stunning and the colours are just right for springtime.

The main image is a Bestie from Sherri Baldy called Summer Swing. I coloured her with mainly the limited edition Spring and Winter collections from 2012.

The flowers are from Hobby Craft and the flourish is a Die I got at a craft fair, it was already cut so am unsure which one it is.

This is the 'inside' again using Secret Garden papers, Hobby Craft flowers,

plus the chipboard embellishments from Secret Garden.

This pocket is on the front.

Pull the tag out to reveal the metal key to the Secret Garden.

The pocket and tag is again from the Secret Garden Collection.
The twine is from my stash.

Here you can see the whole card with the tag pulled up.

There is chameleon glitter on the trousers and flowers on the Bestie.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please feel free to leave a message and let me know what you think.

Today's card is another 8x8.
The backing papers are 8x8 from DCWV Far East Stack and the plain card stock is Bazzill Basics 12x12.

The main image is from Saturated Canary called Gothica, you can get her here.
I coloured her with Pro Markers.

The little metal embellishment is from a pack i bought at Art From The Heart.

Rainbows

Morning all and welcome to another Crafty Boots Challenge
This fortnight it is set by the lovely Emma Mitchell and she has chosen Rainbows. So we are all looking forward to seeing your colourful creations.

Here is my interpretation.
I started with a little colour chart so i didn't forget a colour, lol.

I sprayed Dylusions inks in the following colours and just let them run down the page.
Postbox Red, Squeezed Orange, Lemon Zest, Dirty Martini, London Blue, After Midnight and Crushed Grape.

The little girl is a digi from Sherri Baldy, I don't think she has a name as yet so is still image 631, you can find her here.

I coloured her with Pro Markers in the following colours
Poppy, Bright Orange, Summer Sun, Bright Green, True Blue, Indigo Blue, Violet.

The flowers are from Dylusions stamp set, How Does Your Garden Grow and are coloured with the same pro markers as above.

Then using my Dylusions inks in water brushes i coloured the border around the edge.

The coloured border is from Dylusions stamp set Further Around The Edge. The 'big bump, little bump' Stamp is from Around The Edge stamp set.

Today i cheated as I used Dy's Alphabet stamp set to create the words, normally i do this myself but i was in a hurry so used the stamps.

I coloured the letters with a black pen and outlined them with a sakura gelly roll pen.

Thank you for stopping by today and is you are taking part in the challenge best of luck.

The main image is a digi from Sherri Baldy called Messy Jessy.

The sentiment is a digi from the Internet and is coloured with Pro Markers.

The pearl swirls are from Kaiser Crafts and can be obtained through Crafty Boots.

All the flowers are Mulberry Street by Petaloo.

Red

Ok so those of you who know me, know that this needs no explanation at all, lol. Those who don't know, well I like red!
I blogged a card earlier in the week that was all blue for a Design Team buddy of mine, Zoe. Zoe loves blue and really doesn't like red. It took some doing but i managed a card for her that was all blue - not even red shoes! It was agony I must say, lol. Anyway the world has been feeling a little out of sorts to me this week and I think its a result of the no red business :-)
So I set to work yesterday trying to right the wrongs of my little universe and this is the result.

Its an 8x8 card, the plain card stock is Bazzill Basics 12x12 and the patterned paper is Paper Mania 12x12 Portobello Rd Collection.

The image is a Bestie from Sherri Baldy, love these. I think she is called Odd Socks Sally and you can purchase her here.

I have coloured her with Pro-Markers.

The rosette I made with a tonic punch and some left over Bazzill Card stock. The bow is from the Portobello Rd Collection.

The swirls are from Kaiser Crafts and available from Crafty Boots. All the buttons and gems are form my stash.

Journal Time

Afternoon everyone.
Well it seems like all I have done recently is make cards! Lots of birthdays all at once here.
I have still managed to fit a journal page or 2 in. Journaling is so therapeutic for me and really helps to clear the mind.

These pages are created in my Creative Journal and involved tearing the pages so if you are a bit squeamish look away, lol. Have no fear though, all torn out pieces are reused within the book.

All 3 pages are basic in their backgrounds, pretty much a solid colour, all done with Dylusion's ink sprays.

This middle section is just full of quotes that I like.

Thinking that this lovely lady needs some doodling on her coat though....what do you think??

Thank you for stopping by today and please feel free to leave a comment, would love to know what you think.

Monochromatic Bestie

Morning all.

This 8x8 card was made for my fellow Crafty Boots Design Team Member Zoe. Zoe is a huge blue fan and absolutely no red, this is because she is a Bristol Rovers fan. So you can imagine that this was a challenge for me, any way i managed it and here is my card.

The backing papers are from Paper Mania Portobello Rd collection. the border punch down the side is from Tonic.

The main image is a Bestie from Sherri Baldy called Miss Poodle Doodle, she is coloured with Pro Markers.

All the gems are from my stash.

The flowers are also from my stash.

The Gem letters are from Hobby Craft.

And look no red shoes even. So I managed it and thankfully Zoe liked it.

Thanks for looking.
